A Mercedes delivery van collided with a Nissan in Wawer. It hit a pole and damaged the fence of a nearby property. The driver of the delivery van then fled the scene of the collision. The police are looking for him.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Zagórzańska and Złota Jesieni streets.
Artur Węgrzynowicz, a reporter from tvnwarszawa.pl, was on the scene. – The driver of a delivery van forced the right of way at the intersection and collided with a Nissan. The first of the cars skidded, damaged a power pole, drove onto the sidewalk and damaged the property fence – said the reporter.
Węgrzynowicz determined that the driver of the delivery van fled the scene on foot. – He was not traveling alone, there was another man with him. After passing on the driver's details to the police, it turned out that the driver had a suspended driving license. He was supposed to give his employer scans of documents showing that he was authorized to drive vehicles – added the reporter.
Police, fire brigade and ambulance services are on site.

We asked the police for details. Officers received a report of the incident at 12:26. – The incident was classified as a collision. The driver of the Mercedes caused a collision with the Nissan, after which he drove away from the scene. Investigation activities are underway. There were no injuries in the incident – informed Jacek Wiśniewski from the Warsaw Police Headquarters.
