At the intersection of the avenue on June 4, 1989, two passenger cars collided with the Home Army Battalion “Włochy”. No one was injured, police said, but one of the drivers was intoxicated.

– We received the notification at 17:48. Two passenger cars were involved in the incident: a Toyota and a Land Rover. The driver of the Land Rover vehicle was tested for alcohol content in the exhaled air with the result of 0.83 mg / l (almost two per mille – ed.), The driver of the Toyota was sober. None of the participants in the incident was transported to the hospital, said Deputy Commissioner Rafał Rutkowski from the press department of the Warsaw Police Headquarters.

Mateusz Szmelter from tvnwarszawa.pl was there. Both cars are badly damaged, he said. The collision also damaged a traffic light pole.
