Four cars collided on the S8 route. Three of them are heavily damaged. According to the police, the cause of the accident was the failure of one of the drivers to adjust the speed to the road conditions.
The collision occurred on the S8 route, near the town of Mory. We received the first information about it on Kontakt 24.
Mateusz Szmelter, a reporter for tvnwarszawa.pl, was on site. – There was a collision of four vehicles: a Volvo, a Volkswagen, a Renault and a BMW. There was a traffic jam several kilometers long. The fire brigade, police and ambulance were on site. The Volvo is very damaged, its front and side are damaged. Volkswagen also the entire front, and Renault mainly the side. The BMW is the least damaged, the reporter reported.
He also talked about the difficulties. – The road was completely blocked for about 15 minutes. Then the cars involved in the incident were standing in the left lane and the area was secured by the road service, he added. There are no more difficulties on site.

We asked the police for details. The officers received a report about the incident at 12.50. – This is an incident involving four vehicles. The Volvo driver did not adjust his speed to the road conditions or the distance from the vehicles in front. He hit the following vehicles: Volkswagen, Renault and BMW. The drivers were tested for alcohol content and were sober, said Jacek Wiśniewski from the Warsaw Police Headquarters.
As the policeman added, the incident was classified as a collision. Noone hurt.
