For over four months, the desire and Italy will lose the tram connection with Śródmieście. At the beginning of June, the trams will start the next stage of the route construction to the West Railway Station. A fragment of the Bitwy of Warsaw 1920 Street will be closed until autumn, which means that the warehouses will not reach the loop in Aleja Krakowska.
In Ochota, work is underway on the construction of a new tram route, enabling travel between the western station and the center and southern districts of the capital. As part of the investment, there is, among others, a tunnel that will allow passengers to be delivered directly to the platform area. Thanks to this, the station will become one of the most important communication nodes in this part of the city. Warsaw trams estimate that over a million passengers will use the new connection a year.
The town hall announces that the investment is just entering the stage of culmination of difficulties for passengers and drivers. At the intersection of Bitwy Warszawska 1920, Grójecka and Banach streets, the contractor will start the next stages of the construction of the full “Star” of the tram, i.e. switches that will allow trams to cross in all relationships.

Large changes in trams in Ochota
The new stage of work will cause many changes in the trams and traffic organization. “From Monday, June 2, trams will not commute to the P+R al. Krakowska. The break in trams will last about 4.5 months. Line trams will be suspended 15 and 25short routes 1 and 9 and launched replacement lines – tram 75 and bus Z9 and Z14. This stage of work also requires correction of bus routes: 124.136, 154, 172, 186, 191, 414, 703, 706, 707, 711, 715, 721, 728 and 733 and nighttime N01 and N43” – announces the town hall.
In connection with the closure of the journey through the Batvae of Warsaw 1920, all trams in Ochota will end the run on the Narutowicza Plac loop. The construction of the temporary overlay switch at Och-Teatr will start on June 2. It will allow bidirectional trams to turn back. Officials announce that from Tuesday, June 3, line trams 9 They will commute to the Och-Teatr stop again.
Line trams will reach the loop at Narutowicza Square 1, 7, 14. Line 15in connection with the work at pl. Banking, will be suspended. Lines 23 and 25 will be replaced by a line 75 On the route: Nowe Bemowo – Powstańców Śląskie – Radiowa – 303 Squadron – camp – Młynarska – Wolska – Al. “Solidarity” – Okopowa – Towarowa – al. Jerozolimskie – al. Poniatowski – al. Zieleniecka – Targowa – November 11 – target – mother Teresa of Calcutta – Rembielińska – Annopol. Line 75 will only run on weekdays.

The section between Narutowicza Square and Pętla P+R al. Krakowska will be served by the buses of the replacement line Z-9. Part of her courses will be implemented on a shorter route from the square to Hynka Street. The line will also be launched Z14which will connect Narutowicza Square with a loop on Street Instalersów.

Temporary bus lanes will be marked out at Grójecka and Aleja Krakowska. On the road towards Okęcie, they will apply on the section from Zawisza Square to the tag at fairy tale and Winnicka, while towards the center from Lechicka to the tags for Dickens. The town hall announces that buses will stop at existing or temporary stops located near tram platforms.

Bitwy of Warsaw 1920 will be closed on a 300-meter section between Białobrzeska and Grójecka. This is due to the extension of the works area at the track system and reconstruction of the heat pipeline. Difficulties will last until the turn of July and August.

Travel routes for lines 141, 157, 167, 208, 317, 521, N38 and N88 will remain unchanged.

Changes in Aleje Jerozolimskie
Drivers are also waiting for changes in traffic organization in the Western Railway Station area. The town hall reports that the contractor intends to postpone the traffic between the roads of Aleja Jerozolimskie in June.
In addition, the organization of traffic at the intersection of Grójecka Streets, the Battle of Warsaw 1920 and Banacha is to change many times. Everything depends on the progress of works. Officials estimate that restrictions on the capacity of the intersection will persist at least until the end of the year.
“We will use works at the track system at the intersection for renovation of the track between Narutowicz's Square and the Warsaw Battle of 1920 and conducting other maintenance on the further section, towards the P+R Krakowska loop. Trams will return to the route between Pl. Narutowicz and the P+R Krakowska loop in October 2025” – announces the town hall.
End of work on the construction of an underground stop
The capital city hall informs that construction works were completed at the underground stop at the West Railway Station. Robots are currently underway when playing land development. On the other hand, advanced finishing and installation works are underway at level -1.
“The contractor already floods the ceiling of the tunnel in the place of the southern road of Aleja Jerozolimskie and is preparing to postpone the traffic between the roads – thanks to this, work on the next part of the tunnel, on the side of the Western Railway Station, will be able to start” – explain the officials.
