On Friday evening, the Warsaw Critical Mass will pass through the streets of Śródmieście and Mokotów. – We will go Puławska and Niepodległości. Safe, but only because with the police. There will be an opportunity to see exemplary urban anti-pedestrian and anti-bicycle solutions – the organizers describe the event.

Traditionally, on the last Friday of the month, the Warsaw Critical Mass will pass through the streets of the capital.

What did the authorities of Mokotów promise?

“Mokotów … breathes here … it is pleasant to drive … Wait a minute, after all, this is one of the most overloaded with cars, districts of Warsaw, with unstructured parking, and above all unsolved and unstructured bicycle issues” – we read on the event’s website. As the organizers argue, Puławska Street and Niepodległości Avenue are “extremely hostile and dangerous for cyclists, and nothing promises that it will be better”.

“The ideas for Zielona Puławska and Zielona Niepodległości were to transform both these roads from the transport sewage into CITY STREETS. We are not aware of any new ideas for the City of Mokotów, but we know that the authorities of Mokotów (the District Board and the District Council) will do everything for cyclists do NOTHING to do – we met and we still remember – we were promised a bicycle lane in Mokotów, we expect another concrete parking lot “- activists reminded (original spelling).

And they invite you to the event.
