Difficulties in the operation of lines 15, 16, 18. The traction network was broken on Muranowska Street – informs the Municipal Transport Authority. Trams were diverted.
– After hours 14, the pantograph on tram line 16 on Muranowska Street was damaged. The overhead line was also broken. Tram lines 15, 16 and 18 were diverted, said Tramwaje Warszawskie spokesman Witold Urbanowicz. The disruptions may last at least another hour.
Technical services of Tramwaje Warszawskie are working on site. – The tram will be brought back to the depot, and employees will check and repair the overhead contact line – he added.
Trams on diversions
The Public Transport Authority announced that trams on the line 15,16 and 18 were diverted to diversion routes.
Line 15 runs in both directions along the route: pl. Bankowy, al. Solidarności, al. Jana Pawła II, Popiełuszko, Słowackiego, Metro Marymont. Line 16 through pl. Bankowy, al. Solidarności, al. John Paul II, and “eighteenth” through pl. Bankowy, al. Solidarności, al. Jana Pawła II, Radosława, Słomińskiego roundabout.
A replacement bus line “Za Tramwaj” has hit the streets, running on the route: Metro Marymont, Słowackiego, Mickiewicza, Andersa, pl. Banking.
