The 46th Nationale Nederlanden Warsaw Marathon will take place on Sunday, September 29. Temporary traffic disruptions are expected in seven districts.

The section has been closed since Friday Świętokrzyska Street from Emilia Plater to Marszałkowska.

It will be closed additionally on Saturday noon E. Plater street between Śliska and Świętokrzyska. Line buses 178 those coming from Ursus will have a shortened route to Rondo Daszyńskiego and from there they will go back (this will be the case until the end of the journey on Sunday).

On Saturday and Sunday (and in the case of night buses, until the end of service on September 30), the route will be changed 160 towards Grodzisk: from the Central Station, buses will leave to the right and through Al. Jerozolimskie and al. John Paul II will reach their route.

All night buses starting from the platforms at the Central Station will turn right and reach Al. Jerozolimskie and then, or turn left to Marszałkowska (N11, N14, N16, N21, N41, N44, N61, N64, N71, N91) or right, towards al. John Paul II (N13 and N63). Bus lines: N32, N35, N38, N85, N88 they will get to the Emilii Plater 01 stop, and in the other direction they will go from the Dworzec Centralny 02 stop. Nocne, going to the Central Station from the direction of Plac Bankowy, will turn right into ul. Królewska and will go through pl. Grzybowski and ul. Hard.

Difficulties in seven districts

On Sunday, runners will take over the streets of seven Warsaw districts: Śródmieście, Praga-Południe, Praga-Północ, Wola, Bemowo, Bielany and Żoliborz.

They will run along the following route: Świętokrzyska, Marszałkowska (eastern road), Al. Jerozolimskie (southern road), Poniatowskiego Bridge (southern road), al. Poniatowskiego (southern road), al. Washington, Modrzewiowa, Grochowska (southern road), Zamoyskiego (southern road), Targowo (western road), Zamoyskiego, Sokol, Zamość, Wybrzeże Szczecińskie (eastern road), Sokol, Zamoyskiego, Targowo (western road), al. Zieleniecka, al. Poniatowskiego (northern road), Wybrzeże Szczecińskie (western road), Wybrzeże Helskie, Zatylna, Jagiellońska (western road), Starzyńskiego (northern road), Gdański Bridge (northern road), Słomińskiego (northern road), Remember o Ogrodach, Kłopot, Burakowska, Piaskowa, Powązkowska, Tatarska, Ostroroga, Wawrzyszewska, Obozowa (northern road), Ksiącia Janusz, Ksiącia Bolesława, Widawska, Wrocławska, Powstańców Śląskich (western road), Conrada, Wólczyńska, Nocznickiego, al. Wittek (eastern road), Marymoncka, Słowackiego (eastern road), pl. Wilsona, Mickiewicza (western road), Gen. Andersa, Muranowska (northern road), Bonifraterska, pl. Krasińskich, Miodowa, Senatorska, Moliera, pl. Piłsudskiego, Królewska, pl. Małachowskiego, Mazowiecka, Świętokrzyska.

“The streets will be closed to traffic as runners move. Changes will be introduced in public transport,” ZTM said.

Buses and trams on diversions

On Sunday, September 29, from approx. At 8.30 the streets along the running route will be closed. Throughout the day, buses of three lines will run on shortened routes: 503 from Natolin Północny to pl. Trzech Krzyży, 518 from Nowodwory to Metro Marymont, and 521 from Falenica to Wiatraczna.

Trams will make detours: 4, 7, 9, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 33, 35 and buses: 102, 103, 106, 107, 110, 111, 112, 114, 116, 117, 122, 123, 125, 127, 128, 129, 131, 135, 136, 138, 146, 147, 156, 157, 15 8, 162, 166, 180, 181, 184, 185, 197, 201, 202, 203, 210, 220, 250, 500, 507, 509, 520, Z12.

Running during the marathon line 409 will be suspended and “slow” buses will support line 500.

On Sunday, September 29, runners can use public transport, Koleje Mazowieckie and Warszawska Kolej Dojazdowa trains free of charge based on their starting number within the first ticket zone.

“On Sunday, passengers will be helped by city informants. In key places, they will direct them to the best available means of transport. Traffic supervision instructors will also work on Warsaw streets,” ZTM informed.
