For several dozen minutes, trains of the first metro line ran in the Młociny-Stokłosy loop. A broken train blocked the tracks in Kabaty.
“Due to technical reasons, until further notice, there are difficulties in the operation of M1 metro line trains. Trains may run at a reduced frequency,” Warsaw Public Transport announced in a statement.
As we found out in Metro Warszawskie, the reason for the difficulties was a broken train that blocked the tracks in Kabaty. – We will turn off the power for about 15, 20 minutes to unlock the train – said after 5 pm Anna Bartoń, spokeswoman for the Warsaw Metro. The metro was running on the Młociny-Stokłosy route, and three stations in Ursynów were closed. Replacement transport has been launched – bus line Z.
After 5:30 p.m., the disruption ended.
