On Sunday morning, trains running through the Warsaw railway junction are delayed or canceled. According to the PKP PLK company, the traction network was damaged between the Warszawa Wschodnia and Warszawa Zachodnia stations.
Difficulties in running concern long-distance trains, Szybka Kolej Miejska and Koleje Mazowieckie. As the PKP PLK company announced in the announcement, the traction network was damaged on the section Warszawa Wschodnia – Warszawa Zachodnia. “Train traffic on track no. 3 and selected trains routed through Warsaw Central. There may be train delays of around 30 minutes” – reads the company’s announcement.
The Public Transport Authority in Warsaw also warns about the difficulties. “On the section Warszawa Wschodnia – Warszawa Zachodnia, at the stations Warszawa Stadion, Warszawa Powiśle, Warszawa Śródmieście, Warszawa Ochota, trains run on the wrong track” – informs ZTM.
Due to traffic difficulties – from 7.15 am, KM tickets were accepted in SKM, buses, trams and metro trains on the M2 line.
On SKM trains, tickets are honored on S1 trains: on section Pruszków – Otwock and S2: on the section Warsaw Chopin Airport – Sulejówek Miłosna.
