Material of the magazine “Polska i Świat”.

After the accident of a police car with teenagers in Dawidy, one of them is still in the hospital. She has a broken nose and had to undergo surgery. – I will never forget this look until the end of my life – says the mother of a 17-year-old girl. – I thought that if I had the opportunity, I would take these two policemen and make myself look at this child suffering physically and mentally – she adds.

Her health deteriorated. It was necessary to consult other specialists. Her poor mental state is not helping her treatment. – The daughter said: “Mom, let them judge these people, because I do not want anyone to experience what happened to us” – the mother of the 17-year-old reports.

Disregard for the matter, jokes with subtext

“We had to deal with the defense of these policemen, basically by disregarding history. Saying that the girls themselves wanted to get into the police car is slander, he believes.

So far, the officers have been on leave, and the police have suggested that the girls themselves wanted to get into the police car, which is denied by the witnesses. – The policeman, pointing to the glowing light of the fire truck, the so-called rooster, told the girls that he could show them another rooster – says Roman Giertych.

There were supposed to be more such jokes with subtext – also about a reflective triangle or a personal search. “The girls who were there, apart from the two in the police car, noticed it,” a friend of the 17-year-old said anonymously.

Questions about the actions of officers

Roman Giertych points out where the policemen wanted to go. The recording posted by the patron shows that the road led towards deserted field areas.

– I am receiving information not yet of a procedural nature, that events of this type, and even worse, took place in Pruszków and the surrounding area – emphasizes Roman Giertych.

About that and about the monitoring in the radio car MPs from the Civic Coalition at the headquarters in Pruszków also asked. – These people acted very freely. They felt unpunished, so it seems that it could not be the first time – points out Kinga Gajewska from the Civic Coalition.

– Where were these officers going with these teenagers? What would have happened if the accident had not happened? – wondered Aleksandra Gajewska from the Civic Coalition.

When an ambulance arrived at the scene of the accident, the teenager was no longer there – they had to seek help in Raszyn. – They were conscious, they came on their own. Immediately, the ambulance from Raszyn transported the 17-year-old to the hospital – says Piotr Owczarski, spokesman for the “Meditrans” provincial ambulance station in Warsaw.

Investigation into causing the accident and failing to provide assistance

Police officers may face not only official consequences, but also criminal charges. The investigation in this case from the Prosecutor’s Office in Pruszków was taken over by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw.

– In this case, which is being conducted for causing an accident and failing to provide assistance, these crimes are punishable by imprisonment of up to three years – informs Aleksandra Skrzyniarz from the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw.

The victim’s attorney would like the investigation to be conducted in the direction of abduction, i.e. deprivation of liberty.
