A modern sports hall divided into three sectors, including a gym, fitness room and sensory space for children. The Śródmieście District Office has signed a contract for the construction of a sports facility at Primary School No. 158. Jana Kilińskiego at Ciasna 13. The investment is worth PLN 24.5 million.
As the spokesman for the city center noted in a communiqué on this subject, “in the Jan Kiliński school in Śródmieście, you can feel the spirit of sport from the moment you enter.” – Cups, medals and impressive trophies adorn the windows and shelves of school corridors. Over the last 26 years, students of this school have stood on the podium more than 1,000 times, placing their school at the forefront of sports schools not only in Mazovia, but also throughout the country. Only last week they added several dozen medals from the swimming competition in Racibórz, where they won the Polish Championship of Sports Schools in swimming. For the second time in a row, he said. He added: – They have strong football and volleyball teams at the provincial and national levels. They are also at the forefront of the national cross-country races. All this despite the very limited infrastructure that the school can currently offer them. Classes are conducted in a small gymnasium, in school corridors and in changing rooms converted into small exercise rooms.
