Two trucks and a passenger car collided on the Southern Bypass of Warsaw. One person was taken into the care of paramedics. There are difficulties on the road towards Ursynów.
The collision took place after 1 p.m. on the section of the S2 route between the Konotopa and Opacz junctions. – On the road in the direction of Ursynów, at the level of Bodycha Street, there was a collision involving two trucks and a passenger car. The passenger car was between the trucks, but it was not crushed very much – reports Tomasz Zieliński from tvnwarszawa.pl. And he adds that one person was cared for by paramedics.
There are police, ambulance and fire brigades on site. The drivers will face traffic difficulties. As our reporter warns, two lanes of the road have been blocked. The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways informs that the crossing can be cleared around 4 p.m.
Information about the incident is confirmed by the Warsaw Police Headquarters. – We received the notification of this incident at 13.15. Two Volvo trucks and a skania collided with a passenger Volkswagen that got between the trucks. One person from the passenger car was taken into the care of paramedics. The drivers were sober – said Bartłomiej Śniadała from KSP a few minutes after 2 p.m.
