Two men were sleeping on a bus stop bench in Wola. Passers-by concerned about their health notified city guards. When they arrived, it turned out that one of the sleepyheads had eight bank cards, an ID card and a wallet. All these things weren’t his.

On December 12, just after 8 a.m., city guards from the 4th Regional Department received a report about men sleeping at the bus stop at Skierniewicka Street. Upon arrival, they found two men unable to stand on their own feet.

Other people’s payment cards and documents

They both stated that they did not have documents, the guards called a police patrol. “In the case of one of them, this was not entirely true. He had documents, but not his own. During the inspection before admission to the Capital Center for Intoxicated Persons, eight bank cards, an ID card and a driving license, as well as a city card and wallet of a woman who lost it as a result of theft,” the city guard said in a statement.

The guards left both of them in the sobering-up room. As the officers emphasized, when the men recover, one will leave the center after paying the stay fee, the other will be picked up by the police, to whom he will have to explain how he came into possession of other people’s documents.
