On Saturday and Sunday, October 21 and 22, trains of the M1 metro line will run only between Młociny and Politechnika. On the remaining section of the route, a replacement bus line ZM1 and tram line 74 will be launched.

From Saturday morning, October 21, until Sunday, October 22, until the end of service, trains on the M1 metro line will not run from Kabaty to Politechnika and back. The shutdown on this section is caused by the “modernization of traction and power substations” supplying the underground railway. Such work has already been carried out by the Public Transport Authority – together with the Warsaw Metro – at the following stations: Imielin (in 2020), Ursynów (2021) and Kabaty (2022). Now it’s time for Wilanowska. The work being carried out requires switching off the voltage while replacing switchboards and electrical cabinets, hence the interruption in train traffic.
