From March 1, two new points of Selective Collection of Municipal Waste (PSZOK) started operating in Wola and Bielany. You can leave there used electronic equipment, old tires, furniture or textiles.

The capital city hall announced on Wednesday that the new PSZOKs are located at Tatarska 2/4 in Wola and at Kampinoska 1 in Bielany, in the bases of the Municipal Cleaning Company. Points are open from Monday to Friday from 11-19 and Saturdays 9-17. The MPO will be responsible for running both.

– We are increasing the number of PSZOKs in Warsaw. We are expanding their network to make it easier for residents to access solutions that will help them get rid of waste in the right way. A great convenience is PSZOK in Wola, close to the city center, where the next “Ekopokladani” action will take place. During this educational event, residents will receive seedlings for e-waste – says Agnieszka Jakubowska, director of the Waste Management Office, quoted in the message.

As the town hall reminds, in PSZOKs residents can safely and free of charge get rid of problematic waste. In particular, those that cannot be thrown into any of the containers placed in the garbage gazebos.
