A dangerous event took place at the Nowodwory bus terminus. As we found out, a bus entering it collided with a tram going straight ahead. A child was injured. There are difficulties in running public transport.
According to Maciej Dutkiewicz from Tramwaje Warszawskie, around 5 p.m. on the bus terminus at Światowida Street, a bus entering the terminus collided with a tram line 2, which was going straight towards Winnica. – A bus drove under the tram – he clarified.
– We have information that one of the tram passengers is injured. This is about 1.5 year old baby. It hit some part of the tram as a result of a collision with a bus. An ambulance was called due to the procedures, Dutkiewicz informed.
There is a break in traffic, public transport routes are shortened. – The difficulties will last up to several minutes, depending on how quickly the bus will be removed from the scene and the technical condition of the tram – he said.

Information about the difficulties was provided by Warsaw Public Transport. “Due to the road incident in the area of the entrance to the end of NOWODWORY, there are difficulties in running lines 2, 17, 186, 516 and 518. Tram lines 2 and 17 have been shortened to the end of TARCHOMIN KOŚCIELNY. The route of buses 186, 516 and 518 has been extended to On the section of WINNICA – TARCHOMIN KOŚCIELNY, which is excluded from tram traffic, please use bus lines 186 and 509.
