A fire broke out in a building in Warsaw's Falenica. Fire was coming from the roof. Firefighters removed one person from the burning house and he was taken to hospital. A dozen or so more were evacuated from neighboring buildings.

The fire broke out on Sunday around 10 p.m. in a building on Młoda Street. Eight fire brigades and an operational group were dispatched to the site. There were also: police, energy and gas emergency services, as well as representatives of traffic supervision and crisis management.

Firefighters removed one person from the engulfed building, who was taken to the care of the emergency medical team and then transported to hospital. 14 people were evacuated from neighboring buildings. – The fire is not under control yet – said the officer after 11 p.m. Bogdan Smoter from the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Warsaw.

As tvnwarszawa.pl reporter Artur Węgrzynowicz described, open fire was coming from the roof, and there was heavy smoke in the area.

The road is blocked and buses are being diverted. “Due to the blocked crossing in the area of ​​Młoda Street in Falenica, there are disruptions to the N72 line. Possible delays and diversion of the line,” warns the Public Transport Authority.

N72 buses towards the Central Station go along Młoda, Patriotów, Bysławska streets, bypassing the PKP Falenica 07 stop.
