The fire broke out in the underground garage of a multi-family building in Targówek. Two passenger cars caught fire.

A reporter tvnwarszawa.pl Artur Węgrzynowicz found out about the fire in the underground garage of the building at 4 Rembrandta Street in Targówek. – Two fire engines and the police are on the spot. The fire started in one of the cars and spread to a car parked nearby. Firefighters have already extinguished the fire – our reporter said around 6 pm.

As he managed to determine on the spot, the first attempts to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher were made by a security guard working in the building. The man suffered a minor injury to his hand. There was no need to evacuate the residents of the block, Węgrzynowicz said.

Information about the fire was confirmed by Wojciech Kapczyński from the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Warsaw. – Two passenger cars caught fire in the underground car park. The fire has already been brought under control. The fire extinguishing and smoke removal of the garage hall is underway, the firefighter said.
