After a foot chase in Italy, police arrested a 40-year-old man. According to reports, he had cocaine on him. It also turned out that he had damaged a door in the hotel a moment earlier.

Police officers from the Włochy district were alerted by employees of one of the hotels on Dzwonkowa Street about a man behaving aggressively.

When they arrived at the scene, the suspect began to run away when he saw them. – After running several dozen meters, he was already in the hands of the police. The 40-year-old was behaving very aggressively. The police found a plastic bag with white powder on him – said Staff Sergeant Jakub Pacyniak from the Warsaw III District Police Headquarters. He added that during the operation in the police car, the officers found additional substances on the man.

Drugs, phones and cards

The police seized a total of over 400 grams of cocaine, five mobile phones and several telephone cards. – The man also damaged the hotel door – added the policeman.

The 40-year-old was charged with possessing a significant amount of drugs and damaging property. The proceedings in this case are supervised by the Warsaw Ochota District Prosecutor’s Office.
