On the night from Saturday to Sunday, a fire broke out in a vacant building in Grochów. Firefighters had to evacuate one person using a ladder. The attic of the building burned down.
Firefighters received information about an attic fire in a three-story vacant building on Grochowska Street at 1:44 a.m. – 10 fire brigades and the city’s operational group took part in the fire extinguishing operation. One person was evacuated using a ladder. She was handed over to the emergency medical team. According to information collected on site, several people evacuated on their own even before the arrival of the services, Bogdan Smoter from the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Warsaw told us.
The firefighter added that after the source of the fire was extinguished, the building was searched. No one was found. The operation of the services ended after about two hours.
