The prosecutor’s office brought charges against a man who attacked staff at the Wolski Hospital. He faces life imprisonment for attempted murder.

Szymon Banna, spokesman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw, announced the presentation of the charges on Friday.

– In the course of the proceedings, it was established that the injured parties – hospital staff – suffered injuries as a result of the incident, which resulted in their health being impaired for less than seven days. However, due to the fact that they were inflicted with a knife, which is a dangerous tool, the prosecutor today charged the detained man with two counts of attempted murder and causing slight bodily harm to the injured parties, prosecutor Banna said.

The spokesman added that the prosecutor submitted a request to the court to arrest the suspect for three months.
