He threatened the weapon of the owner of the house and shot him. He escaped through the balcony window. Policemen from Wola and capital anti -terrorists found a suspect in a robbery in a hideout constructed in the basement.

The incident occurred last Saturday in the morning. Policemen were alerted by the victim. He informed that a man unknown to him broke into his house. He was awakened by noise coming from the next room, worried, he wanted to see what was going on.

– Then he noticed the perpetrator in a balaclava who had a weapon. The attacker threatened to use it. After a while he fired a firearm shot and escaped through the balcony window. Fortunately, the victim did not require medical assistance – the spokeswoman for the Wolska police commissioner Marta Sulowska.

Policemen of the prevention and criminal division from the police station in Bemowo and the headquarters in Wola were involved in the case. The investigation group together with a forensic technician conducted an inspection at the scene and secured traces that were forwarded to the KSP criminal laboratory. Policemen analyzed the perpetrator's escape path in detail, conducted operational arrangements. Capital anti -terrorists were involved in the actions.

– They determined the identity of the suspect, and then the address of his concubine apartment. During the search, the police found a revolver, ammunition, knives, sticks and other items that could be used for other crimes – said the Commissioner Sulowska.

Policemen selected a man to hide a man. They carried out a diagnosis and with the participation of anti -terrorists from the Warsaw Police Headquarters began their actions.

– They knew that the man was dangerous and could have a firearm with him. The 40-year-old was hiding in the basement in one of the multi-family blocks and he was arrested there. He constructed a special hideout there. You could get to it by moving elements of an old wardrobe – a policewoman revealed.

Allegations and arrest

The man was sent to police custody. It was previously listed mainly for burglary into apartments. Investigators gathered all evidence. The suspect was brought to the Warsaw-Wola District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, where he heard allegations regarding the theft with robbery and theft of robbery, having firearms without the required permit and the appropriation of the found cell phone found.

At the request of the prosecutor, the court applied temporary detention for a period of three months. The man is punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment.

The proceedings are conducted under the supervision of the Warsaw-Wola District Prosecutor's Office.
