Citizen’s arrest at a car wash in Warsaw’s Bródno district. Witnesses took the keys from a drunk driver who damaged a building.
The incident took place on Sunday before noon on Wysockiego Street in Bródno. – The driver of the Volkswagen came to the car wash and “by the way” drove into the building. Witnesses began to doubt whether he was sober. That’s why they took his keys – said Artur Węgrzynowicz from tvnwarszawa.pl.
Their guesses turned out to be correct. – The driver blew four permilles – our reporter found out.
Police officers were working on site. Bartłomiej Śniadała from the press department of the Warsaw Police Headquarters confirmed the version of events presented by our reporter. – The driver is a foreigner. He will be detained and the police will investigate the circumstances of the incident, the officer said.
