Volkswagen and Toyota collided in Prymasa Tysiąclecia Avenue. As our reporter found out, the driver of the first car fled the scene, but was stopped a bit further by a witness of the incident. “He had about three ounces of alcohol in his body,” the police said.
The reporter of tvnwarszawa.pl Artur Węgrzynowicz informed about the incident. – First, there was a collision in Prymasa Tysiąclecia Alley – there the Volkswagen hit the Toyota. The driver of the first car drove away from the scene. Another driver followed him and at the intersection of Wolska and Elekcyjna, when the cars stopped, he pulled out his keys, making it impossible to continue driving. It turned out that the man was drunk. He was also supposed to have a larger amount of money in the car – said Węgrzynowicz unofficially.
The police partially confirmed our reporter’s information. – At 15.40 in Aleja Prymasa Tysiąclecia, a Volkswagen collided with a Toyota. The driver of the Volkswagen turned out to be intoxicated – he had about three per mille of alcohol in his body – said Monika Nawrat from the Warsaw Police Headquarters.
She also confirmed that the man had cash in the amount of about PLN 30,000 in the car.
