As the police found out, the 80-year-old went to the bank for money. – She took out PLN 3,500 from her account. She hid 2,000 zlotys in an envelope and put it in her handbag. She had put the smaller amount in there loosely because she knew she would be shopping in a moment. Her son drove her from the bank to the estate by car. The woman decided to stop by a nearby store. There she made purchases. On her way to the cash register, she took a roll of banknotes from her purse. She paid and put the rest in her shopping bag pocket. Then she went to the apartment – reported in the police communiqué from Koniuszy.
He ran upstairs with his shopping, 1500 zlotys disappeared from the bag
He reported that a man approached her a few meters in front of the cage, who offered to help her, asking which floor the senior woman lived on. The woman replied that it was on the fifth. – The 35-year-old supposedly pressed a button in the elevator, then stated that the elevator was not working and that he would bring the purchases upstairs. After which he waited for her to come in, said goodbye and quickly went downstairs – said the policeman.
He indicated that during the display of purchases, it turned out that 1,500 zlotys had been lost from the pocket of the bag. The victim informed her son that she had been robbed, and then called the policemen who determined that the perpetrator was a 35-year-old boy living in Ursus.
