The 36-year-old heard the charge of burglary into three bank accounts. The “opportunity” came when he carried the passenger with a taxi who left the phone in the car. The driver with the help of codes paid a significant amount of money. Losses are PLN 25,000.
Policemen from Śródmieście worked on the burglary of three bank accounts. The officers began their actions that led them to the suspect and then detained him in Białołęka in Warsaw.
The taxi driver transported the client, “at the end of the course, the passenger paid him using the BLIK code, generated in the mobile application. During this transaction, the suspect remembered PIN codes for the phone and electronic banking” – described young asp. Jakub Pacyniak from the downtown police. Unfortunately, the victim accidentally left the phone in a taxi.

Lost PLN 25,000
Instead of giving back the mobile phone, the 36-year-old driver decided to take the opportunity. “He traveled all over Warsaw and paid money from ATMs using BLIK codes, generated in mobile applications. In addition, he ordered several pairs of shoes in an online store worth nearly PLN 5,000. The 42 -year -old lost a total of nearly PLN 25,000” – said Pacyniak.

The detained 36-year-old was taken to the command at Wilcza. After a night spent in a police cell, he heard allegations for burglary, acting under recidivism. He may face up to 15 years in prison.
“During the interrogation, he confessed to committing a crime. The criminals determined that the 36 -year -old threw a cell phone after using the transaction limit” – added Pacyniak. The proceedings in this case are supervised by the Warsaw Śródmieście District Prosecutor's Office.
