A 21-year-old fell into the hands of the police. The man is suspected of shooting glass from the pistol. In this way he was supposed to damage seven windows. In his apartment, the police found a weapon and shot. He heard the allegation.

In January, the Mokotów headquarters received a notification regarding damage to seven windows in one of the buildings at Czerniakowska Street. “Everything seemed to indicate that the unknown perpetrator shot a pistol in the windows,” said in the statement of the Academy of Fine Arts. pcs. Marta Haberska from the Warsaw Police District Headquarters.

Policemen began activities, the information they collected led them to a 21-year-old Azerbaijan citizen. The suspect was detained.

“At the place of his residence, during a search, the police found a pistol and a shot through which the perpetrator made damage. The losses were estimated at PLN 2,000” – added Haberska. The uniforms determined that the man had this weapon legally. It was secured as evidence in the case.

He heard the charge

Policemen, based on the evidence gathered in the case, charged the man with damage to property. As they pointed out, he will now have to explain to a court, which may condemn him for up to 5 years in prison and oblige him to pay for the damage caused.

The proceedings in this case are supervised by the Warsaw Mokotów District Prosecutor's Office.
