Policemen detained an 18-year-old suspected of stealing a phone and blackmailing his owner. The man faces up to five years in prison.
As the younger aspirant Jakub Pacyniak informed, a 29-year-old woman came to the command at Wilcza Street. Submitted a notification regarding the commitment. She explained that in one of the Warsaw clubs an unknown perpetrator stole her phone.
– The next day, the man contacted her through messengers. He began to blackmail the content of the content in the memory of the stolen phone and publishing them on social media. In exchange for the return of equipment and silence, he demanded PLN 50,000. The 29 -year -old refused to pay and informed policemen – Pacyniak said.
To unlock the phone, he went to Wrocław
The officers tracked the suspect. It turned out to be an 18-year-old Ukrainian citizen. – Criminal findings show that he used the temporary inattention of the victim and stole her cell phone. He turned him off immediately and returned home. The next day he realized that his loot was equipped with security and was unable to break them himself – explained Pacyniak.
As the policeman said to unlock the phone and access its contents, the 18-year-old went by train to Wrocław, where he paid 1000 zlotys on the site.
– At the same time, he misled the employee as to the origin of the cell, convincing him that he belonged to him. On the same day he returned to Warsaw and bought a new SIM card, and threw the old one. He contacted the victim and began to blackmail her when she refused to pay her image, sending content to her friends – added Pacyniak.
Three allegations, police supervision, threatens him with prison
The 18-year-old was detained in Warsaw. He confessed to theft and blackmail, saying that he was unemployed and was guided by the desire to enrich. He threw the stolen phone after an unsuccessful attempt to the Vistula – informed the spokesman of the downtown police.
The man heard the allegations of: theft, forcing a specific behavior, distribution of the image and unlawful information. He faces up to five years in prison. He was covered by police supervision.
