A television flew out of a fourth-floor apartment and into the path of a man walking down the sidewalk with a child in a stroller. Six people aged 17 to 24 were detained immediately after the incident. One of the men was charged and arrested. Police from Warsaw's Śródmieście district have revealed the background to last week's incident and shown the recording.

A very serious incident occurred last week. at Nowowiejska Street. – A moment before 9 a.m. we received information that someone from the fourth floor had thrown a television out of a window. Police officers immediately arrived at the scene and took action. He rented an apartment for a month

Downtown police arrived at an apartment from which a television had been thrown. Conversations could be heard inside, but no one opened the door. Officers entered the apartment through an open window with the help of firefighters.

– Inside, they checked the identity of six people, aged 17 to 24. Some of them were drunk, and the oldest of the group, a 24-year-old US citizen, behaved very aggressively towards the police officers, who used direct coercion against him – emphasizes junior cadet Pacyniak.

According to the officers, the 24-year-old rented the apartment for a month. Inside, there were alcohol bottles scattered everywhere, chaos reigned, and most of the things in the rooms were damaged.

Charges and arrest for 24-year-old

– The actions of the intervening police officers were very decisive, and all the people in the apartment were detained. The court agreed with the motion of the District Prosecutor's Office of Warsaw Śródmieście Północ, imposing two months of temporary arrest on the suspect. The proceedings are supervised by the District Prosecutor's Office of Warsaw-Śródmieście.
