A patrol of the Warsaw city guard caught a man tampering with the blockade imposed on the wheel of an incorrectly parked car. He wanted to take it off himself.

“On Monday, July 3, just after 8 p.m., the guards were called to Ogrodowa Street, where a man with a hammer and a chisel was noticed, getting ready to remove the blockade from the wheel of the car on his own,” the city guard said in a statement.

As added, the patrol arrived at the moment when “the driver was hitting the padlock, thus trying to restore the mobility of his car.” The guards thwarted this attempt, protecting the impatient driver from committing the second – after incorrect parking – prohibited act, i.e. property damage.

“Luckily for the man, the device was not damaged, and for a traffic offense against the ingenious driver, the guards applied the appropriate disciplinary measure” – it was described.

The officers stressed that the blockade placed on the wheel by city guards means that the driver committed an offence. “Then you should call 986 and specify the place of forced parking. Then the guards will remove the rim and let you drive away. We do not recommend the method of blocking used by the Daewoo driver to anyone” – they reserved.
