The 29-year-old was caught stealing goods worth several hundred zlotys in one of the stores in Białołęka. The security employee handed the man over to a joint patrol of the city guard and police.
It was almost 11 a.m. on Monday when city guards patrolling Białołęka and a policeman received a report of a theft in a store at Przy Trasie Street.
“After arriving at the scene, the security employee pointed out to the officers a young man who had stolen goods of significant value. The perpetrator was caught behind the checkout line as he was walking away with the loot. The cart contained food and industrial products. They were valued at nearly PLN 850 “- the city guard said in a statement.
A 29-year-old man admitted to the theft. The perpetrator was transported to the police station in Białołęka.
