The municipal police were called to an intoxicated man lying on 11 November Street. When the 58-year-old woke up, he told officers he had a year in prison to serve. “The guards helped him fulfill this duty” – informs the formation.

On Tuesday around 9 pm, city guards from the 6th Regional Department received a report of an intoxicated man lying on the pavement at 11 November Street. The officers found him at the intersection with Letnia Street and woke him up.

It turned out that he was a 58-year-old citizen of Belarus. – During the conversation, the guards smelled alcohol on him. He confided to the officers that he had to serve a prison sentence, the city guard said in a statement. As it was clarified, it was a crime committed in Poland, for which he was sentenced by the court to one year in prison, but he did not serve the sentence. Hearing this, the guards called the police.

As indicated, the police patrol that arrived at the intervention site established that the man was indeed wanted. The Belarusian was transported to the district headquarters.
