The woman asked the city guards to help a man who was lying behind the bus stop at Krakowskie Przedmieście. The officers noticed a woman’s purse that the drunk man was carrying.
The incident took place on Friday after 7 p.m. A woman was stopped by city guards on Krakowskie Przedmieście. She informed that a man was lying behind the “Uniwersytet Warszawski” stop. The officers determined that he was a 38-year-old man from Białystok. He wasn’t sober.
“The guards’ attention was drawn to a women’s purse that the man was carrying. Inside – documents of a Ukrainian student, PLN 160, headphones and small amounts in dollars and hryvnias,” the Warsaw City Guard reports in a statement.
“Before the transport patrol, which was to take the man to the Capital Center for Intoxicated Persons, arrived at the scene, two policemen approached the guards. As it turned out, they were looking for the perpetrator of the theft of a purse that took place in Nowy Świat,” we read in the release.
An intoxicated man from Białystok with a women’s purse was handed over to the police.
