At night, while routinely patrolling the streets of Wilanów, police officers noticed unusual behavior of a BMW driver. He was driving with traffic lights on. He was arrested and taken into custody. It turned out that the trunk of the car was full of burglary loot.
When the police stopped the vehicle, it turned out that the 29-year-old driver did not have a driving license. Moreover, the deadline for technical inspection of the car has long passed.
Burglary loot in the trunk
– The man, nervous and answering questions incoherently, aroused even greater doubts in the police. He said that he made a mistake when turning on the lights, that he was moving to a friend's house in Praga, but he couldn't remember the address. It quickly became clear why, said Commissioner Ewa Kołdys, spokeswoman for the Wilanów police.
SEE: They broke the car window, took the suitcase with money and fled.
During a detailed inspection of the vehicle, the officers discovered that the BMW contained over 100 stolen items, including jewelry, branded watches, glasses, phones and other items, including a drone worth PLN 10,000. The officers also found balaclavas, screwdrivers and gloves in the car.
