The driver of a Mercedes hit an elderly man on a local street. Police findings show that the incident occurred while reversing. The 72-year-old was taken to hospital.

The incident occurred on the access road to a property in the Hawaiian area. Tomasz Zieliński, a reporter for tvnwarszawa.pl, was on site.

– The incident took place on a narrow access street between the sides, within the estate. There is a “residence zone” sign there. The courier was reversing and hit a man. The pedestrian hit his head on the asphalt and suffered an injury to his eyebrow. He was taken to hospital, the reporter reported.

Police officers were on the scene and received a report about the incident before 4 p.m. – Initial information from police officers working at the scene shows that the driver of the Mercedes hit a 72-year-old man while reversing. The pedestrian was transported to hospital – said Jacek Wiśniewski from the Warsaw Police Headquarters.
