The driver of a passenger car hit a pedestrian on Targowa Street in Warsaw’s Praga district. The victim was transported to the hospital.
As Bartłomiej Śniadała from the press team of the Warsaw Police Headquarters told us, the incident was reported around 7 pm. – The Skoda driver hit a pedestrian. The injured person was taken to the hospital, police said.
He noted that the incident took place on a marked pedestrian crossing. “Activities are underway on the spot,” he said after 8 p.m.
Artur Węgrzynowicz from tvnwarszawa.pl reported that the injured person suffered serious injuries, including an open fracture. – Witnesses gave first aid. The driver of the Skoda was not injured. One lane of Targowa Street is blocked, but it does not cause major difficulties, our reporter described on the spot.
