Incident at Chopin Airport. As Artur Węgrzynowicz from tvnwarszawa.pl found out, smoke was rising from the landing gear of one of the planes.
Artur Węgrzynowicz specifies that it is a flight from Zurich to Warsaw. The machine took off from the airport in Switzerland before 9 am. Passengers traveled by Embraer E195LR. According to the information of our reporter, at some point “chassis smoke” was noticed. Firefighters appeared at the airport, as you can see in the photo from the intervention.
No emergency landing
We asked Krzysztof Moczulski, spokesman for LOT Polish Airlines, about the matter, who explained that the incident took place during taxiing after the machine landed in Warsaw.
“Smoke from the left landing gear was reported. The plane was towed to the parking stand, and the services did not find any threat,” the spokesman said.
He also noted that the plane did not make an emergency landing.
