Justyna Glusman will no longer be responsible for greenery in Warsaw. – My three-year cooperation with the town hall ended yesterday – she wrote on Twitter.
As Glusman wrote, the reason for handing her the dismissal “are the differences in the approach to the implementation of tasks, as well as my disagreement with the liquidation, that is, the parceling out of the Green Management”. “It would be a harmful step, in practice it would destroy a large part of the city’s achievements in the field of greenery management. I did not agree to the proposal to limit my competences only to” smokers “- she added.
“I am leaving, but I hope that my existing collaborators will manage to continue the projects they have started – such as introducing seven new green maintenance standards, decarbonising the Green Vision of Warsaw or extending the City Forests by another 100 hectares by the end of their term of office” – she wrote. “In the era of a climate catastrophe, it is ours to be or not to be” – she emphasized.
