A 42-year-old resident of Grudziądz was arrested in connection with a car theft in Warsaw's Wawer district. During the search, the police found on him, among others: a metal engraving tool, a breaker and a mephedrone.

Police officers from the South Praga police station, part of the “Kobra” operational group, in cooperation with officers from Katowice, determined that the 42-year-old had stolen an Audi A7 worth PLN 200,000 in Wawer. The man was arrested in Warsaw. He drove a BMW car.

– During the search of the BMW he was driving when the man was arrested, “Kobra” officers seized, among others: walkie-talkies, GPS signal search devices, an electronic tool for metal engraving, a breaker, Swedish documents, fragments of metal sheets with VIN numbers , money and a plot of mephedrone – says sub-inspector Joanna Węgrzyniak from the Warsaw VII District Police Headquarters.

The 42-year-old was charged with burglary and drug possession. – The secured items will be examined by experts. The police transferred the case to the Warsaw Praga-Południe District Prosecutor's Office, where it was decided to apply police supervision to the suspect – sums up Węgrzyniak.
