At the National Stadium, footballers will fight for the Polish Cup, and runners and walkers competed on the streets. State celebrations are planned in the castle squares and the Constitution. In connection with events from 1 to 4 May, traffic and parking difficulties should be expected.

Policemen who decide to close selected streets for traffic will be supervised by the safety of the participants. Buses and trams will go through the nearest passage streets.

On Thursday, May 1, several public assembly combined with marches are planned. A day later, there will be state celebrations on the Castle Square on the occasion of Flag Day. The Saturday celebration of the Third National Day is also planned at Zamkowy Square, but also on Piłsudski Square. On Sunday, firefighters will celebrate at Piłsudskiego Square. In connection with these ceremonies, changes in traffic and restrictions in parking will be introduced. During marches and parades, police will additionally stop traffic on the streets.

Meetings on the occasion of May 1

On Thursday, May 1 at 11.00 the public assembly at the de Gaulle roundabout will begin, combined with the march on the route: Nowy Świat, Świętokrzyska, Mazowiecka, Królewska – to Plac Grzybowski. The assembly is reported until 15.00.

At 12.15, a public assembly is also planned in front of the monument to the Polish Underground State and the Home Army at Matejki Street and then the march on the route: Matejki, Aleje Ujazdowskie, Piękna, Marszałkowska, Wilcza in front of the building at Wilcza 30. Difficulties may last until 15.00.

“With a blocked passage, Aleja Ujazdowskie on the Matejki-Piękna section and Piękna Street, buses will be directed by traveling routes 100, 107, 116, 118, 159, 166, 180 and 503” – said ZTM.

However, in the case of an impassable street beautiful and blocked Marszałkowska on the section Plac Konstytucji-Wilcza, the routes of Lines will be changed 100, 107, 118, 159, 520 and 525.

Flag festival match at National

Also on Friday, state ceremonies will take place on the Castle Square and the Royal Castle on the occasion of the Flag Festival. From 9.00 to the end of the ceremony on Saturday, May 3, you will not be able to park on Podwale Street, from Senatorska to Kapitulna.

The Constitution and State Celebrations Run

On Saturday, May 3, the 33rd Run of the Constitution will start. The competitors will be running in Aleje Jerozolimskie and Marszałkowska. During the competition, from 10.30 to 13.00, the streets on the route of runners will be closed to traffic.

“The longest drivers will not go through Plac Trzech Krzyży, where the running town will stand. The square will be closed on Saturday from 3.00 to 15.00. You will not be able to park along the route,” ZTM noted.

Also on Saturday there will be central celebrations of the third of May at Zamkowy Square and Piłsudskiego Square. Throughout Saturday, you will not be able to park on the streets: Jesuit, Kanonia, Świętojańska, Piwna and Królewska on the side of the Saxon Garden, and Saturday and Sunday, May 3 and 4 also in the parking lot in front of the Grand Theater – the National Opera. The cars left can be towed away. During the marchs of military honorary assistance, representative company and orchestra, between 8-14 the traffic will be temporarily suspended on the streets: Działka, Kanonia, Królewska along the Saxon, Jesuit, Piekarska, Podwale from Senatorska to Capitul to the Capitul to Podwale, Świętojana, Świętojana, Zamkowa Square.

Piłsudski Square will also be closed to traffic from 12.00 to 12.30.

In turn, at 13.00 the parade will begin as part of the 5th Polonez Rally on the Constitution Day of May 3. Participants will set off from the romantic beach along Rychnowska, Wał Miedzeszyński, Siekierkowska route, Wisłostrada to Aleja Krajowej, Maczka, Powstańców Śląskich and Piastów Śląskie to Autodrom Bemowo. The journey may last until 15.00.

Walders 'Race and Firefighters' Day
