Warsaw. Man falls from mezzanine at Chopin Airport, dies

On the night of Monday to Tuesday, the services intervened at Chopin Airport, where a 31-year-old fell from a fairly large height. He did not survive.

The information was confirmed to us by Piotr Skiba, spokesman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw.

– At around 3 a.m., the prosecutor went to Chopin Airport to examine the body of a young man who had fallen from a height, probably between the first and third level – prosecutor Skiba told us. He added that it was established that the man had come to the airport several dozen minutes earlier “most likely to check in and travel.”

It is known that the man who died at the airport was a citizen of Azerbaijan.

Investigators secured monitoring located at the airport. – Analysis of traces on the body, as well as the monitoring record, excluded the involvement of third parties. The body was secured for autopsy – concluded Skiba.
