On weekends, the Staszic Palace comes alive with colors. This is due to mapping, i.e. a projection that combines light, image and sound, creating a three-dimensional show on the building's facade. You can see it on weekends.

Video mappings can be seen on weekends at full hours, on the walls of the Staszic Palace and at the square of Fr. Jan Twardowski. “This is a great opportunity to feel the magic of Christmas in a modern version and see how technology can revive Warsaw's historic buildings,” the city hall encouraged in a statement.

3D video mapping is an advanced projection technique that combines light, image and sound to create a three-dimensional show on building facades. “It uses architectural elements to create the illusion that the building comes to life. By precisely matching the image to the shape and structure of the facade, viewers can experience magical and dynamic visual effects,” explained the city hall.

Each show is unique

He assured that each show will be unique, putting viewers in the Christmas mood through colorful animations, Christmas motifs and atmospheric music.

The Staszic Palace, located on the Royal Route, is the perfect background for this type of events. “Its impressive architecture and historical significance add additional charm to the displays. It is worth setting aside time for an evening walk to fully enjoy this unique Christmas experience,” it added.
