On Sunday, the station of the second metro line, Kondratowicza, will be open to visitors. The condition for entering the construction site is appropriate dress.
– This time, the station C20 Kondratowicza in the Targówek district will open its doors to the residents. I cordially invite Warsaw residents and residents of Warsaw to the open day, which will last from 11.00 to 15.00 – says the mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, quoted in the announcement of the event.
Visitors will descend to the mezzanine level, where wall cladding is placed. It will be possible to see how the technical installations of the underground railway are assembled. Technical rooms and a passenger platform will also be presented. The condition for participation in the event is bringing the printed and signed rules of the event.
What conditions must be met?
As we read in the invitation, the entrance to the station will be entrance number X, from the side of the parking lot at the Targówek District Office. Due to the state of the construction stage, it was not possible to prepare the route for the needs of people with disabilities, people in wheelchairs and children who needed to be transported in them.
Appropriate attire is required: hard-soled indoor shoes and long trousers. Participants will receive a protective helmet and a reflective vest at the construction site.
The organizers reserve that visitors may not be under the influence of alcohol or intoxicants. The contractor has the right to refuse access to the construction site to persons whose behavior indicates the condition after consuming alcohol or drugs.
As reported on tvnwarszawa.pl, officials announce that three new stations second metro line on the eastern section: Zacisze, Kondratowicza and Bródno, and two on the western section: Ulrychów and Bemowo, they will be available to passengers in the second half of 2022 (probably during the summer holidays).
