Although May 2 is a working day, parking in the paid parking zone is then free of charge. Such an exception is introduced in Warsaw only three times a year.
There are much fewer cars on the capital’s streets in May. On Tuesday, May 2, you do not have to pay for parking your car in the paid parking zone. Similarly, May 1 and May 3, but these are public holidays. Tuesday is a normal working day, but it is one of three exceptions a year when it comes to fees.
The unguarded paid parking zone applies from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm (excluding the days: May 2, December 24 and 31). Parking is free on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The minimum parking fee is PLN 0.50, which is equal to a 10-minute parking.
