The city center police have detained a drug dealer wanted on an arrest warrant. He was caught in his girlfriend's apartment on Wolska Street. The police secured significant amounts of illegal substances in the premises. The 26-year-old was temporarily arrested.
A few days ago, Warsaw police officers specializing in combating drug crime arrested a 26-year-old. Two years earlier, downtown detectives also arrested him for possession of a significant amount of drugs. In connection with that situation, the man was sentenced to one year and seven months of unconditional imprisonment. The 26-year-old did not report to prison, so an arrest warrant was issued for him.
They located him in Wola
– Police from the City Centre confirmed that the man is still conducting criminal activity and may have prohibited substances. A few days ago, detectives located the dealer in Wola, in his girlfriend's apartment on Wolska Street. The 26-year-old was detained, and in one of the rooms over 50 grams of various types of drugs were secured – said the press officer of the City Centre Police, Junior Warrant Officer Jakub Pacyniak.
The police officer indicated that the man was temporarily arrested for three months by a court decision at the request of the prosecutor's office. After that time, he will serve the sentence for the previous crime. He will also be held accountable for possession of a significant amount of drugs.
The proceedings in this case are supervised by the Warszawa Wola District Prosecutor’s Office.
