North Prussian police detained two people suspected of stealing the painting and one who was supposed to deal with receiving stolen goods. According to the spokeswoman of the district headquarters, the stolen painting worth three thousand zlotys was to be donated to charity.

The incident took place at the end of July. – According to the findings of the policemen, the work worth three thousand zlotys was stolen from a local studio – informs Paulina Onyszko, a spokeswoman for the northern Polish headquarters. – The owner was counting on its recovery, because the painting was to be donated to charity. The money from its sale was to go to an animal shelter – he explains.

Soon after, the police detained two more men: a 28-year-old and a 38-year-old. – Everyone has heard the charges. The 48-year-old will be responsible for receiving the painting, and the 28- and 38-year-old for the theft of the painting, acting under the conditions of recidivism, says a spokeswoman for the North Prague command. And he announces: – This is not the end of this case. The operatives are planning further arrests.
