The Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform on Wednesday at the National Stadium. There will be traffic jams both before and after the concert. The entry to Saska Kępa will be limited, officials also announce that the Poniatowski Bridge and Aleje Jerozolimskie will be closed to traffic. Alternative communication will be introduced.

On Wednesday, June 21, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform at the PGE National Stadium. The town hall encourages the use of public transport.

“Trains on the second line arrive at the station with a frequency of 3-4 minutes. Efficient access will also be ensured by SKM trains and Koleje Mazowieckie as well as trams running over the Józef Poniatowski Bridge,” informed the Public Transport Authority.

At 16.30, entry to Saska Kępa will be restricted. until 21, the areas limited by the following streets will be excluded from traffic: Aleja Poniatowskiego, Aleja Wasza, Międzynarodowa, Aleja Unii and Wał Miedzeszyński and Aleja

“The restrictions will not apply to vehicles of people with SK badges, taxis and two-wheelers. Public transport buses will also run here without changes” – informed ZTM.

Depending on the situation, the police may decide to close individual streets. If Sokola Street is closed, from Zamoście to Wybrzeże Szczecińskie, from 4:30 p.m. to the end of the distribution of fans (around 11:30 p.m.), buses 102, 125 and 202 will go along Targowa and Kijowska Streets to the Dworzec Wschodni (Kijowska) terminus, and 146 and 147 Szczecin coast and Zamość.

If Sokola, Zamoście and Zamoyskiego streets are closed, buses 102, 125, 135, 146, 147 and 202 will be diverted to detour routes. Buses 102, 125 and 202 will travel along Targowa and Kijowska streets to the Dw. Wschodni (Kijowska) 135 will go to Targowa, and 146 and 147 al. Zieleniecka.

The E-1 buses will be directed through the Świętokrzyski Bridge to the Centrum Nauki Kopernik metro station.

Difficulties in connection with the concert at the National Stadium

After the concert, around 10.30 pm, if the Poniatowski Bridge and Aleje Jerozolimskie between the de Gaulle roundabout and the Washington roundabout are closed, trams and buses will be diverted to the detour routes.

Lines 7 and 25 will travel over the Śląsko-Dąbrowski bridge. Trams of lines 9 and 24, on the side of Śródmieście, will end their courses at Plac Starynkiewicza, and in Praga at the Ratuszowa-Zoo terminus. On the other hand, trams of line 22 on the Śródmieście side will reach Plac Starynkiewicza, and in Praga they will run in the Wiatraczna loop … al. Zieleniecka, al. Washington, Windmill.

There will be replacement transport on the streets

A replacement bus line Z-9 will be launched on the following routes: Plac Zawiszy, Aleje Jerozolimskie, Nowy Świat, Aleje Ujazdowskie, Trasa Łazienkowska, Łazienkowski Bridge, Wał Miedzeszyński, Zbigniew, Saska, Aleje Washington, and Wiatraczna.

Bus lines 111, 117, 158, 166, 507, 521, N22, N24 and N72 will bypass the closed part of the routes via the Łazienkowski bridge.

After the concert, additional bus routes 509 will be launched, which will take you to Winnica (from the stop Rondo Washingtona 04) and to Gocław (from the stop Rondo Washingtona 03). Trains of the second metro line will run more frequently in the direction of Trocka and Bemowo stations.

Similar changes will also be introduced during the next concerts at PGE Narodowy: Beyoncé (June 27-28)Harry Styles (July 2) and Pink (July 16).
