Warsaw. Renovation of the tracks at Rondo Daszyńskiego during the weekend

On the weekend of November 25-26, due to the renovation of the tracks at Rondo Daszyńskiego, tram traffic will be closed on the section from Aleja Solidarności to Plac Zawiszy. Drivers will also drive differently.

Last weekend, tram drivers were renovating the northern crossing through the Wola roundabout, now they will move to its southern part. The works will start on the night from Friday to Saturday, November 24-25, and will end on Monday, November 27, at 4 p.m.

Drivers will not drive from Kasprzak towards Jana Pawła II Avenue. There will be three right-turn lanes available, towards Plac Zawiszy. From Towarowa Street, from Grzybowska Street, you will not be able to turn left at the roundabout into Prosta Street.

The detour will lead Towarowa to the U-turn between Srebrna Street and Aleje Jerozolimskie.

Changes in tram and bus routes

Trams will not run along Okopowa and Towarowa streets from Aleja “Solidarności” to Plac Zawiszy.

The “1” route will be shortened to the Wola depot, i.e. trams will run between Annopol and Skierniewicka Street. Tram line 22 will run between Wiatraczna Roundabout and Narutowicza Square, and tram line 24 will run on the Gocławek – Banacha route. Two replacement lines will be launched – tram 71 and bus Z-2. Replacement trams will go from Annopol to Nowe Bemowo via the Gdański Bridge, Okopowa, “Solidarności” and Młynarska avenues, and buses from Narutowicza Square to the intersection of Okopowa Street with “Solidarności” Avenue, Grójecka and Towarowa streets. Bus lines 105, 178, 191, 255 N45 and N95 will run on detour routes, and the 255 route will be suspended.

“The operation of lines 1, 22, 24, 71, 105, 178, 191, 255, N45, N95, Z-2 will be based on special timetables,” informed the Public Transport Authority.
