The demolition of the southern viaduct of the Łazienkowska route began. Its fragment over Paris will be demolished. During the work, this street will be completely closed. Detours for drivers and buses were designated. Pedestrians will also have to choose another way.

In Saska Kępa, the reconstruction of the Łazienkowska route is underway. In February, drivers went with a new northern viaduct. This allowed the demolition of the old object on the south side. Now it is time to demolish his fragment over Parisska Street.

Parisian closed. Detours have been marked

On the night of Sunday to Monday, from 16-17 March, road workers will close the Parisian crossing under the Łazienkowska route. Difficulties in this place will last until March 23.

From the Winners street, the driver will only reach the intersection with Mexican. Only the inhabitants of buildings located right along the route will go further. On the other side, the traffic ban signs will stand at the Wolfram roundabout. Only residents will go from Versailles and Brussels in Paris.

The detour will be marked through the streets of Winners, Saska and Lorrańska or Wał Miedzeszyński.

In Paris, under the viaduct, pedestrians will not pass. You can get to the other side of the Łazienkowska route at Wale Miedzeszyński or a viaduct on Saska Street.

The buses will go differently

Line buses 117 and 146 They will run along travel routes. Line 117 Towards the Central Station, he will go along Versailles Street to the Miedzeszyński embankment, then turns into the winners and will reach his basic route on French. In the direction of Gocław, she will turn from French Street in the winners and will continue to go Saska, Egyptian to Bora-Komorowski and her basic route.

Reconstruction more serious than assumed

In addition to the work on the demolition of the southern viaduct, which will last until the end of April, the Route of Northern Avenue of the United States is carried out on the Łazienkowska route – from Bajońska Street to International Street. “Initially, the project assumed the replacement of only the upper layer of the surface. During the work, however, it turned out that deeper layers were in such a poor technical condition that it was necessary to replace them. This required the development and implementation of a replacement project” – said the capital's management board of the city's expansion.

The foundation of the new Northern Round road is already being built, and laying the surface on it is planned in May. The works currently carried out also include paving work, reconstruction of the teletechnical network, construction of road lighting and acoustic screens.

Established in 1974, they require reconstruction

The viaducts over Paris and Bajońska streets were founded in 1974 as part of the Łazienkowska route. Due to poor technical condition, they required reconstruction. On the section of the United States Avenue from Bajońska Street to International, acoustic screens will be built, and the so -called Silent surface.

The modernization of the Łazienkowska route is conducted by the capital's management board of the city's expansion. The general contractor for construction works is Warbud. The investment obtained funding from the state budget in the amount of PLN 101 159 257.40 as part of the Polish Government Fund Order: Strategic Investment Program.
