There was a fight in a hostel in Warsaw's Wawer district. According to the police, four foreigners beat up two men. Some of the facility's equipment was destroyed. The suspects were detained.
Police officers from the police station in Wawer intervened in a hostel in the district. The owner of the facility reported a quarrel caused by four men. One of them was a resident of the facility, the rest were its guests.
– On site, the police found that four Georgian citizens were harassing the hostel residents after drinking alcohol together. They started a fight with two men and then beat them. In the process, they also destroyed a lot of the facility's equipment, tables, chairs and doors, said Sub-Inspector Joanna Węgrzyniak from the Warsaw VII District Police Headquarters.
They will be held responsible for assault and property damage
The policewoman said that the men ran away just before the patrol arrived. – The police acted immediately and soon all four were arrested. A 46-year-old, a 44-year-old, a 38-year-old and a 30-year-old were taken to police cells – said Węgrzyniak.
Based on the evidence collected, the Georgians were charged. – All four detainees will be charged with assault and damage to property. By the decision of the Warsaw Praga-Południe District Prosecutor's Office, the suspects were placed under police supervision – explained the policewoman.
